OTAKU REVIEWS: "Galaxy Strike"

Hey Otakus! This marks my first ever video game review. I thought I'd kick it off with a new game to hit your smart phones. It's a deep space flight game known as GALAXY STRIKE!
In this game you pilot your own space ship and test to see how far you can last against the never ending waves of asteroids and alien ships. The game is the perfect mixture of the beloved Flappy Bird and Temple Run. With the side scrolling elements from great games long past, and the new feel of current traditional gaming, this will get you hooked for hours.
As you start the game you'll begin at your basic level, then with time and a lot of high scores you'll gradually unlock more upgrades for your ship. These upgrades will let you change the weapons, abilities, and look of your ship to make it your very own. And if you'd like to quicken this process, you can also purchase points from the in-game store to buy more advanced upgrades so you can blast your way through more top scores and levels.

MENUS

The game menus are also very easy to use, unlike a lot of the new games on the marketplace. Simple buttons, easy to read stats, and detailed options make setting up quick and painless so you can jump right into the gameplay. Just adjust your volumes and effects, start your new game, and get flying!

GAMEPLAY

Gameplay is very fun and extremely addictive. Instead of using your phone's motion sensors to fly, you drag your finger across the screen to pilot past barriers and enemies with ease. And the ones you can't fly past you blast out of the way with your weapons and item pickups.
The enemies can be aggressive at times, but with experience they turn into great challenges for even the sharpest of gamers. Items are also unique and really fun to use. The invincibility item is a fun comparison to the Star from Super Mario Land, and the weapon pickups are all different equally fun. As you make your way through the levels you can also earn multiple achievements for differents actions and completing goals as you go.

As you continue through each level the enemies and blockades grow more and more intense, making you constantly looking around for items and paying close attention to where you map out your flight path.

RATING: 9 OUT OF 10 - A Must Try!

In my opinion this is one of the best new games for your phone so far this year. It's free on the marketplace, and doesn't take up a ton of space of your phone as well. My only complaint is that it's currently not available for Android phones, but it will be in time.
I give this game a 9 Out Of 10! It's really a must try for anyone who enjoys gaming on your phone. I hope you guys check it out and comment below with your own opinions of the game!
Talk to you next time from my next review! :D (Links to the game are below.)
